The Galactican

The Galactican is a fan-created electronic magazine created by Joe Beaudoin Jr. With a team of contributors that included Lawrence White, Jarryd Williams, Charlene Donatello, et al., it was was published on a bi-yearly basis from 2001 to 2003 in Portable Document Format. Covering both the Original Series and the revival efforts, including coverage of Ron D. Moore's Miniseries, The Galactican mixed episode reviews with opinion editorial pieces.

Among its offerings, it included a two-part interview with Jay Woelfel, director of Richard Hatch's proof-of-concept mock trailer, Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming, in addition to an interview with Herb Jefferson Jr. (Boomer).

For the most part, it was highly critical of the then-proposed Ronald D. Moore Miniseries and represented the feelings of the fandom at the time period.
