It is understood that the content creator has ownership of articles and creative works.

Unlike the Battlestar Pegasus, where no one person "owns" an article, articles and other content on Battlestar Pegasus are owned by one or more people, who may control the content as they see fit and within reason.

Battlestar Pegasus' rights

Since Battlestar Pegasus hosts the content on our webservers, we do have the legal right to remove content which goes against the policies of our web host or is otherwise illegal.

When posting to Battlestar Pegasus, you do retain the right to distribute or modify your works as you deem fit. However, by posting here, we do have the right to copy edit or modify content (to make syntax, grammar, flow or style changes). Typically, our editors and assistants (not to mention our stewards) make every reasonable effort to communicate these changes to you, and request that the content creator make said changes themselves with little to no editor or assistant intervention.

Otherwise, if the content is not illegal or goes against the policies of our web host, we do have a fairly lassiez faire policy when it comes to the content (aside from copyediting and the occasional syntax or link edit).
